Hotel de Tourny – a Charme & Caractere hotel – this hotel is in the heart of Bordeaux. It is fairly new, really clean and worth a night or 3. there is nothing fancy about this place but it is perfect place and price to lay your head. we were not in the main building we were 3 to 4 buildings away from it.  the room and bathroom were quite spacious. the downside is that you could hear a little street noise so bring your ear plugs…and the floor is uneven and has no padding. very minor flaws. the young manager could not have been more cheerful and helpful.  next time in bordeaux we will definitely stay at this hotel again. 

La Grande Maison – this is one of the nicest places to stay in all of Bordeaux.  this hotel is beautiful. the service is really great.  the hotel also has one of the best restaurants in Bordeaux – La Grande Maison Pierre Gagnaire. if you want to splurge a little and stay in an absolutely beautiful place then this hotel is for you.       

Hotel Cardinal Bordeaux – another reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. Hidden behind an 18th century mansion this elegant house is made up of 10 personalized suites. situated in the historic center of Bordeaux, an area that is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. they serve an incredibly fresh breakfast each morning in your suite.   

Le Boutique Hotel Bordeaux – a nicely appointed hotel in the middle of Bordeaux.  this is a reasonable 4 star hotel complete with a place to drink wine in their beautiful garden.
